Hi Andy, The guides you print really have helped me have more fun at those mountains. They have actually helped me ski areas of those mountains I may not have tried otherwise. There still remains many areas of the various mountains I look forward to with the help of your guides. I believe I have become a better skier and have learned how to manage the mountain better. I have learned snowboarding in the ’98 season and look forward to improving in that sport. - JSHutchens
Andy, I really enjoy your interesting descriptions of the trails. My wife & I are marginal blue skiers, so it’s important to us to not get tricked into a mogul field or a blue that should really be a black! Keep up the good work! - Ron S.
Andy, Please send me an order form – we want to order at least the Keystone guide (loved the Copper guide!). Thanks!
Hey Andy! Every skier can benefit from these guides, especially those who have children that ski. Your ability to rate the individual ski slopes can be so valuable to the skier or boarder. Unless one has made every run on the mountain, the guide should be standard equipment along with the mountain map. These “ski guide” are a big advantage. I believe they help lead to a greater ski experience. Tell those resort companies that they should incorporate your systems into their maps. - Show-Me
Hi Andy! Last year I got your guide to Copper. With 3 young kids and a husband who ski’s like one, we won’t ski again without your guides. What a difference your guide makes for my family – fun, challenge and safety are guaranteed using your guide.
We were at Keystone yesterday and not a single person ever knew of these guides. Our experience without the guide was marginal. So, we must have your guides. May I ask you to send ALL your current guides to me along with a bill. I will send you payment promptly on receipt of the books! See you on the mountain.
Thanks from a satisfied customer.
- Christine, Englewood, CO
Dear Andy, I was just handed your guide on Copper Mountain by my team leader and co-worker at the Ski Watch. My immediate reaction was “Wow, This is incredible!” He mentioned that you were sending him guides on Keystone and A-Basin. As a former local and devotee, I can’t wait to see those! Your guide is exactly what I’ve always looked for. The rating system is a masterstroke. When you combine that with the descriptions of each trail, what a perfect way to determine what you want to ski. No more unexpected steep pitches or sudden mogul fields. Clearly a blue is not a blue is not a blue. And what an amazing idea, detailing the lifts and their access! I’ve never seen such a completely informative and necessary publication with such a unique approach. Graphically, it’s a great set-up. No nonsense, clear cut, no b.s. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for and in something like this, that’s got to be the key. - Marie C., Milford, CT
Andy, Thanks for sending the ski guides & especially for signing them. The kids notices & were really pleased! Hope to see you on the slopes next year. Think snow. Thanks again. - Sigrid
Dear Andy, I bought a couple of your guides last winter while in CO – loved them! Thanks, and keep up the good work. - Charlie V., Wilmette, IL
Hi Andy! Your little guidebook was terrific – the rating system and the trail descriptions are the best I’ve seen. - Howard S., Bethesda, MD
Andy, I had to write you a thank-you note for the ski guides you write every year. I am a very timid skier and the guides really help me plan my day. My boyfriend laughs and calls the guides by bible. I don’t leave home without them. Thanks again, - Sharen H.
Hi Andy, Amongst my skiing friends, your book is known as the bible. - Ed B., Lakewood, CO
Dear Andy, I have bought your guides for the last two years and I think they are incredible! - Todd F., Ohio
Your guides were a lot of help as we only get out to Colorado once every year. Your ratings really are accurate! Thank you. - Bill F, Tampa, FL
I borrowed a Copper Mountain Ski Guide from a friend and would like a copy for myself and wondered if you have an updated version. I have graduated to blue runs and found your guide very interesting. I really like to plan my day out (kind of weird) and your guide would be great. - Dorothy S., St. Louis, MO
Dear Andy, For the last two years we have skied Breckenridge and also visited Keystone. Whilst we were there I managed to track down some copies of your ‘Andy’s Handy Ski Guides’. The boys love to cross off all the runs they do and plot which ones they are going to do the next day. - Jackie T., Dorset, England
